I sort of agree.  I didn't find it hard to believe that she'd get
over her crush of Harry and become more mature (I was quite grateful
to JKR that she didn't have Ginny waste her teen years mooning over
Harry).  And I certainly find it believable that the youngest child
and only daughter would have inner resources of hidden strength that
no one expected.

Budding Quidditch star Ginny was slightly over the top, and that I
found hard to accept.  After all the hoo-haa about the importance of
practice etc. it was slightly unbelievable that borrowing the brooms
at home and flying around a field, alone (presumably), would somehow
quailify as getting in shape.  So I could have lived without that
part.
