DD and Snape

When do you think JKR will reveal to us why DD trusts Snape? I hope 
it is before the very end of the book. I don't think I could or would 
trust him unless I had a very strong and undoubted reason for it. I 
don't know if it would be more shocking to find out that maybe  
Hagrid took Harry to hide out with Snape during the time that is not 
accounted for (before Harry was brought to the Dursleys') or that 
maybe he saved DD's life in some way.
