That's an interesting thought. Although I do believe that Sirius 
really did try to kill Snape with forethought, it would explain why 
Remus forgave him. 

I don't believe in ESE!Remus, but I just can't get past the fact 
that he didn't tell Dumbledore that Sirius was an anamagus. 
Especially after he broke into the Gryffindor common room.
