I could be wrong, but this might actually be a residual of the 
Mooseming posts excitement over christmas.
I recall a mooseming thread that was revived in which Jo (Sturgess) 
posited that Harry would do something very bad in HBP, it came up at 
the time when speculation was high that these posts might be canon. 
That's quite possibly what Vivamus is remembering.
