I think you're describing the Bloomsbury Children's (UK) cover...
unless the Scholastic cover has the same stuff on the back. I can't
really see the cover in the linked photos...

Since I can't really see from the pictures on that link, are these
the same figures as at the side of the HBP promotional stand in
bookshops? I've heard some excellent speculations before regarding
those, including suggestions that they aren't Ron and Hermione but
James and Lily at Godric's Hollow. I really don't know what to think
though!
