Ginger:  Aargh, I'm canonless this weekend too.  I believe he recalls 
a boggart turning into half a slug, which would be a sl.  Having no 
vowels, it cannot eat anything.

Unless it turned into an ug.  In which case, watch out.  

Seriously, I remember it turning into a slug, but not specificly a 
flesh-eating one.  I'll check when I get home Sunday unless someone 
else answers first.  It would be in the chapter where they have their 
first class with him.
