Well since Riddle is Voldemort and we know now that some of his powers 
were transferred (Parseltongue as example) it stands to reason that 
this is true already

Harry has done magic without a wand many times including before he 
knew what he was.  He has done since in PoA, when he "blew up" Aunt 
Marge, it was not with a wand, but with his overwhelming feelings of 
anger
