The Unbreakable Vow requires a third party, and so far no one has
hinted that they understand why DD trusts Snape so much. Of course,
this alone does not negate the hypothesis. A third part could have
been there and (1) is a very good at keeping secrets or (2) has not
been introduced. However, in JKR's interview with Mugglenet and
Leaky Cauldren, she stated that the cast of characters has been
introduced, with only a minor character or two to be added in book 7.
