I thought the same thing about the secret, but for some reason it just 
popped into my head, that maybe that's not the secret at all.  LV told 
the DE in GoF that they knew the steps he had taken, so why wouldn't 
R.A.B. know too?  What if the secret is that LV is not pure-blood?  
Bella sure didn't like Harry bringing that point out into the open.  
That seems like another reason for him to be killed.  Just a thought.
