I totally agree, there was something "off" about Dumbledore 
throughout this book. As I said in 133260 he just didn't seem quite 
like himself. You're subject line is great, he was cocky.  I still 
think he took risks with Harry that he never did before. Still it 
can just be that DD knew that Harry would eventually have to do 
these types of things on his own some day.
