But does everyone who died appear in a painting? We have never heard of
James and Lily and all the others being in a talking painting, have we? So I'm just not sure whether Sirius is dead or alive. Could as well be only the important wizards and witches end up in a painting after their death... But then, I suppose we'll find out more about it in book 7 if it is really important!
