I really missed not seeing more classroom action - it's as though 
being at school was only incidental to Harry's life right now.  I 
was especially eager to see Snape teach DADA, and we got very little 
of that.  (How *does* he think a Dementor should be battled?)  Maybe 
JKR did that on purpose so what we see of Snape's use of the Dark 
Arts - and Defense from - in book 7 will be more of a surprise.  At 
least I'd like to think that.

HBP was the first book of the series that I felt was really too 
short.  Lack of classroom action was a main reason.  (Also, not 
enough Neville, Snape, Dennis, and some other people!)
