In support of Ali's point, in the graveyard scene in GOF, Harry
merely points his wand and yells, "Accio!" to summon the portkey
to return to Hogwarts (as opposed to "Accio portkey" or
whatever). Think that at this point the intention is much more
powerful than the actual words or wrist movements.

Did anyone else wonder why Harry didn't try a non-verbal spell
when up on the rooftop with DD and Malfoy?
