TLC interviewer and JKR both expressed concern over these "fans" who dislike Ron.  If you 
can't appreciate Harry's best friend, recognize his importance to Harry (not just as 
sidekick) in the ultimate showdown, and forgive him the immaturity that is natural for a 16 
year old teenage boy, I can't imagine we are reading the same books.
