Why Dumbledore is so trusting

Hi, I've come up with an idea about why Dumbledore tends to
trust people so much. I think it is because of his philosophy:
He is a daoist.

Just consider the following words from the "Dao de jing", the
most important daoist book:

"He is good to those who are good;
He is also good to those who are not good;
For love is goodness.
He trusts those who are trustworthy;
He also trusts those who are not trustworthy;
For love is trust."

I bet that daoism is the backbone of Dumbledore's attitude
towards life! What do you think?

(Refusing to talk about Dumbledore in past tense, I know... Just 
can't get used to it, even though I believe he is really dead.)
