I completely agree with you. Maybe it is possible to make a living 
horcrux, but I can't see any reason for anyone to do it 
intentionally. If you are going to go to all that trouble to protect 
yourself from death, why would you make a horcrux out of a living 
creature that is guaranteed to die? I'm not even convinced that 
Nagini really is a horcrux, by the way. We haven't actually been told 
that she is. We have just been told that Dumbledore thinks she is.
