I don't think the problem is how Fleur looks, I think the problem is 
that she's plain rude and tactless... You answered your own question 
at the end of your message. I also come from European background, I 
know how it is to be called rude when all you did was to speak your 
mind in a very honest and straight fashion...In Anglo culture, this 
kind of communication is not always well received. I think this has 
more to do with cultural diferences than with looks... Also it has to 
do with the plain fact that Fleur is kind of pretentious, rubbing in 
everyone faces how superior she is... It is also a problem of 
personality. See? Even if Fleur were extremely ugly, Ginny an Molly 
attitude wouldn't be different...
