As usual Im not around my books.... but the above made me think - how
can Remus live with the werewolves as one of them?
Wouldn't they know that he's not on their side?
The werewolves are on Voldemort's side - and Voldemort knows that Remus
is on the side of the Order (Pettigrew or Kreacher - yes, or even
Snape! would have told him) - so how can Remus live among his kind -
unharmed and trusted?
