I agree Joj. I couldn't shake the feeling during HBP that I was
reading a *heavily* edited version of the H/G relationship. I wouldn't
be surprised if half the exposition ended up on the cutting room floor.
JKR has mentioned in recent interviews that she felt OotP was too
long. My theory is that she felt under intense pressure to keep HBP
well shy of OotP's length, and the H/G relationship suffered for it.
