I have heard both Jim Dale and Stephen Fry. Both are excellent. I 
have only heard one by Jim Dale, mind you, and that was 
because I couldn't get hold of the Fry version from my library and 
I wasn't prepared to pay  A$250 to find out, but I was very 
pleasantly surprised. Go to your local library and see if the 
Stephen Fry versions are available. If you like Dale, you'll also 
enjoy Fry. He is one of the top actors in Britain.
