Why are you so sure that LV knows that Snape has
joined the Order? 15 years ago when he disapeared, his
DE (not all of them of course), when back to the WW
saying they were under Imperio, or like Karkarov they
made bargains. So why would it be so unlikely that
Snape got a job at Hogwarts? For all these years Snape
has been in Malfoy's good side, he's been his lapdog
(as Sirius says), and I bet he vouched for Snape in
front of LV. Who besides the members of the OoP knows
that Snape is working with Dumbledore?
I bet he went back to him, and just like the others he
begged for forgiveness, and I guess he got it cause
he's still alive.
