Why is Snape allowed to continue spying?

Sorry. I don't agree.

LV doesn't let the DE know of his full plans so easily. So Snape had 
no idea what Quirrel's intentions for the PS/SS was. He knew Quirrel 
let the troll in and tried to jinx Harry's broom, but didn't know 
that it was for LV's bidding or purpose.

(after being away from DE and Snape so long, LV didn't know who he 
could trust. Since LV didn't reveal his plans, Snape could have been 
excused for not helping then)
