anyone born on leap day - February 29 - only has a birthday every
four years, so it takes awhile for those eleven birthdays to roll
by.

Hahahah! That's bloody brilliant Karen, canon thin or not, I just
love the "outside the box"-ness of it.

I am not willing to let this one drop without a proper
investigation, so lets add up some figures and see how old Petunia
is as of OOtP.

Lily was probably 22 at the oldest when she dies, (am I correct,
that is the accepted age by all accounts who have done the counting?)
So that would make her 38 in HBP, assuming that there is 5 years or
less between the girls since Petunia does seem to have been a young
girl when Lily got her letter that would mean that Petunia will be
no older than 43 in HBP.

So there it is folks : If Petunia was 16 when Lily got her letter
then she will be **44** in Book seven.... ALL ABOARD!!
