This statement doesn't necessarily show that Voldemort believes he
will be protected by Lily's blood now. I seriously doubt that
protective magic can be transferred to another simply by taking a bit
of someone's blood. Imo, V is simply stating that his ownership of the
lingering spell in his veins will nullify Harry's protection. In his
mind, he is now free to kill Harry.
