imamommy again:

I don't feel attached to them at all.  I think if Voldemort killed 
them, I wouldn't be at all upset because, well, they were on their 
way already, right?  And I don't want to see precious pages devoted 
to any development of characters before they die, who I thought were 
dead anyway.  The Flamels death wouldn't have a minor impact on me; 
it would have no emotional impact on me and I think I would be 
bothered by the distraction.
