Dead wrong?  Maybe, but remember from each DADA professor Harry has 
learned a valuable lesson that will serve him well:

Quirrell - don't judge a person on outside appearance
Lockhart - don't let fame go to your head
Lupin - what friendship and loyalty really mean
Mad-Eye (Crouch, Jr) - be careful who you trust
Umbridge - even those in the highest authority can be corupt
