something different about Harry's eyes. It seems that somehow
Harry's eyesight was compromised and if it was just from the failed
curse, then why hasn't he (and why haven't we) been told? It
wouldn't be a big mystery to anyone since the scar is so close to
his eyes. There must be some other mystery to the glasses and his
eyes.
Tonks:
JKR says that he has his mother's eyes and she also says that his
eyes are the most vulnerable thing about him, or something like
that. It is possible that she is not talking about the physical
here. If he sees the world through the eyes of compassion, through
the eyes of love, then he is vulnerable. "We fools who love" as DD
says. Harry is vulnerable in a way that we assume that (don't wear
your heart on your sleeve) Snape is not.
