Tonks:
Here is a thought. What if the Half-Blood prince is a decendant of 
the Blacks that we don't know about. A kid about Harry's age or a 
bit older. (Maybe Sirius' brother had a child and Sirius didn't know 
about it. He was in Azkaban all of that time, after all.) The kid 
went to school where the Dark Arts are taught and is an evil person. 
He gets the house and Kreacher. This would be a problem for the 
Order, of course. And these problems in some way lead to the death 
of... ??  And maybe the kid is a challenger for the position of Dark 
Lord.
