Exactly. Plus...well, I can concieve of Hagrid dying, but no way he's the
'big' death. He was barely even in book 6, and while he's a sweetheart he's
just not IMPORTANT. Meanwhile Ron's death, IMO, has been foreshadowed from
the chess game in Book 1 and sacrificing his life for the cause would really
show his coming into maturity.
