CH3ed now:

I agree with Alla's and Christina' take that Dumbledore was being politely disrespectful of the Dursley. Dumbledore has a way of chastising you in such a polite and logically sound manner that it is hard to justify retorting anything back at him (like when he testified for Harry at the Wizengamot, for example). I wonder if Dumbledore was less restraint in HBP because he knew his days are numbered. His right hand was dead from start of the book to finish. It seems to me DD was aware that he would die soon so he couldn't afford to be as patient as usual.

 

CH3ed laid off his computer for 30 hours and came back to find 90 unread posts!!! I am delighted to be in such a productive company!
