That reminds me of a belief I had before HBP about Snape's attitude 
towards Harry. Here was this kid who was being hailed as a hero by 
everyone, pretty much for just being in the wrong place at the right 
time, and here was Snape, a genuine hero who risked death, and probably 
worse, time and time again, and was treated with derision and scorn.
