Thank you, Carol! I've been contemplating a post with a similar
message for a couple of days now. I don't think there's any need to
take up lots of Book 7 page-time with Snape being made miserable.
(Though I don't doubt we'll get to see a little of it). I think it
could work just as well to let us know he has been made miserable for
the past umpteen years, ever since he made his fateful decision to
join the Death Eaters. Something which IMO has been at least hinted
at throughout the series.
