Actually, I think Amelia is dead. She's pretty darn important in the
WW, and, as you said, Fudge claims LV did her in himself. Also Snape
doesn't mention her, which I take to mean he had nothing to do with
it. As far as we know, she's not an actual order member, so Snape
couldn't be expected to have any info on her. Mostly it's just a gut
feeling that I have. It seems more than a little mean to Susan and
the rest of the Boneses. Then again, this is war.
