I don't know if it has been discussed, but I do have a thought or two 
on the subject.  What does DD mean when he tells the courtroom in GoF 
that Snape *came back*?  Sorry, don't have my book in front of me, but 
I believe this is what he said....Did Snape start out working for DD, 
get seduced by LV, became a DE spy, had second thoughts and turned 
back to DD?
