I agree that Snape qualifies under many semantic definitions as 
being evil. However, that being said, he still may be loyal to 
Dumbledore for reasons unrelated to his overall behavior towards 
everyone other than DD. We may also not have all the information 
about all of the reasons Snape has for being loyal to DD. Certainly 
we know DD gave him a second chance after his experience as a DE, 
even though DD wouldn't let Snape be a DADA teacher. I am open to 
Snape being a trusted ally of DD, even though he is certainly a 
nasty person otherwise. The evidence at face value does point 
towards him being guilty, however, that much is true. I can't see 
him getting off legally in a court of law with the evidence we have 
been shown so far.
