I didn't think Draco had the Dark Mark yet.  I thought that might be 
a carrot Voldemort was holding out until after the (*as Voldy 
snickers*) successful completion of his mission.  Still, he did show 
the man something...

And he did invoke his close personal friend, Fenrir Greyback, around 
that time, too.

Yes, I'm as dumbstruck as you.  Glad to see where Hermione gets her 
smarts.  ;)
