I have thought about that many times. I have almost every movie Alan Rickman has made, and I am thrilled that he played Snape (more Rickman is always good!). But he is quite the polar opposite of the way Snape is described in canon. Nothing remotely hot about HIM. Sexy Snape is definitely movie corruption in my book, then again, bad guys CAN be quite attractive!
