Romance isn't the focus of the series.  JKR is writing about  teenagers so of 
course some hormones are going to come into play.  No one  would buy the 
story otherwise.  I don't see her getting any more  descriptive than she did in 
book six though.  What would be the  point?  It would just distract from the 
story.  Those who wish to fill  in the blanks will, and those who don't can move 
right along.
