apparition for Hagrid

I must admit, I never thought about the fact that the Dursleys had to get off the Island.  I'd love to hear any ideas about that.

As far as apparition is concerned,   I'm thinking that, looking at Hagrid's size, it would be very difficult to apparate.  Harry finds apparition very uncomfortable.  Can you imagine how uncomfortable it would be for Hagrid?  I would think that splinching for him would be a definite possibility.
