  Except we know that 1) Family names are passed down from the father 2)Mr. Weasley has only brothers. Therefore, any Weasley cousins would also have to be Weasleys. So either they were killed, or moved to other countries and attend other wizarding institutions. Or JKR didn't think ahead this far and now has to write herself out of this little conundrum....
