Rachel here:
If, indeed, it /is/ Andromeda, perhaps this is a good explanation as to why 
she goes by Tonks.  We do know that Tonks is related to Sirius, however, we 
do not know her last name as of yet.  Also, she is quite youthful and only 
recently joined forces with the Order after many years of schooling.  
Although I like this idea, I'm not sure if the timeline would work out.
