Good point, but Harry wasn't, shall we say, in the moment, with the 
locket like he was with the diary.  But I bet he'll remember the 
locket -- well, I guess he'll have to if it turns out to be a 
Horcrux, won't he?  :)  I really don't know how else he's going to 
know a Horcrux when he sees one (but I'm not JKR!).  DD didn't tell 
him how to positively ID one.
