Do you believe he is really dead? Snape offered Malfoy to fake his death to
save him & his family. Could this also be that faking Dumbledore's death is
some sort of way to fake out the death eaters?

I do believe Dumbledore is dead.  JKR has consistently said, dead means
dead, and I'm thinking she's going to stick with that.  And it's ok.  He's
150 years old after all.  I wish she'd bring Sirius back, but I do not think
that will happen either.

Just a correction to your post.  It was Dumbledore, not Snape, who offered
Malfoy and his family fake death.
