Playing devil's advocate, that is not the only explanation. It could 
simply be that DD is deep in thought now that his plan is finally 
kicking into action. It could be that DD is worrying about whether 
Snape can pull it off. IMO Snape being trusted by LV is key to 
Harry's eventual defeat of LV. Therefore DD would be very worried 
about Snape's first contact with LV. He would be worried whether he 
was emotionally involved or not. It is vital to the success of the 
plan!
