It could be, but then I recall that in the 6th book McGonagall said
that Dumbledore's last wish was to remain in Hogwarts. So that means
that there would be a frame of DD and HP could ask him for help.
Because as far as I remember there were other portraits that used to
talk and that means that DD can also talk and HP can ask him for
help. Though I think that Lana has a better theory because maybe if there is still a DD portrait he couldn't use his brain properly....
...just a thought...
