While this is an excellent point and I can see Dean as turning to LV, 
I don't think this would be entirely harmful to Harry.  How involved 
with Dean is Harry and his friends?  They share the same living space 
and have the same classes but when it comes down to it I just don't 
think Dean has the access to Harry that would have a detrimental 
effect.  I can see LV using him but more as bait then as an in to get 
to Harry.
