I can't see it either. And I don't think we've seen any indication that 
such a fate will be written. Even DD says in OoTP to Voldemort "Merely 
taking your life would not satisfy me, I admit".  That's a pretty 
strong statement. So however it is going to be done, total destruction 
seems the likely outcome.
