I also do not think this book would have allowed a student to 'cheat' 
in Snape's Potions classes. It is a peculiarity of his that he wrote 
his potions instructions on the board. I suspect this is because he 
wrote his own instructions on the board-so having Snape's old notes 
would not have given any student an advantage over the others.
