Can Dumbledore become invisible? Was: Question on PS

Well, it *might* be as simple as that, *but* considering that Hogwarts 
library has *whole* section devoted to invisibility (mentioned in 
CoS), the amount of creatures that can become invisible (such as the 
Demiguise and house-elves, or even Thestrals), or even the Invisible 
Book of Invisibility mentioned in PoA etc.

The whole series has invisible this or that everywhere, and Dumbledore 
I'd certainly consider as one able to become Invisible at wíll. You 
may remember that when Dumbledore appeared to Privet Drive (or 
disappeared for that matter) there wasn't that sound linked to 
apparation involved. However, Dumbledore might have gone inavisible 
(as well as McGonagall became a cat).

Don't forget that wizards began to *hide* themselves from Muggles 
centuries ago. Invisibility would certainly help in that, you know...
