Jen D. here,
I too, have played a few of those raggedy student violins. I think
Hagrid's wand was probably a little worse for wear too, knowing
Hagrid's lack of finesse sometimes but you are right, Ron's wand was
Charlie's, I believe. They used some of the winnings from the
Prophet's grandprize to get him a new one the next year.
Jen D. wondering which kind of core is the most powerful. Do we know?
